CLCF’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Somewhere in Time

Posted in Categories Activities & Events

On Saturday, August 24, 2024, the Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation held its 50th Anniversary Celebration Somewhere in Time – Race for Open Space at the Schloemer Family’s Paradise Valley Farm.

CLCF’s goal was to match the Darrow Family’s Grant of $500,000. We did that and more! In total, with Sponsorships, Live Auction, Raise-the-Paddle donations, and the generous $250,000 grant from West Bend Insurance Company, CLCF’s 2024 Somewhere in Time, raised an incredible, record-breaking $1.8M.

Thank you to Jim and Andrea Schloemer for hosting this special event and to the Darrow Family and West Bend Insurance Company for their generous matching grants. Thank you to CLCF’s Mary Beth Carr, Cindy Mestan, and to all of the volunteers who put countless hours into this event.

With your support, CLCF will be able to protect the land that you love for the enjoyment of future generations.
