Celebrate Arbor Day with the Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation and join us in installing tree tubes at the Rolf’s Property!
Last year, CLCF planted 15,000 trees on this property with the help of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District and our wonderful volunteers. This mix of 15,000 trees was planted to improve the quality of stormwater runoff in the area- they are estimated to capture and retain approximately 375,000 gallons of stormwater. In addition to attenuating flood risk, these trees also provide valuable wildlife habitat and natural air purification.
This year, we plan to install additional tree tubes to ensure that these trees are protected!
