We will be clearing trails on the Torinus property this Thursday. Due to the snow, a few large trees came down including one huge tree that is laying across the bridge. A lot of small saplings and brush also need to be cleared from trails. (Note- this is a change from the original posting at Thoma preserve).
Parking is available at two locations. Either park along the driveway of 4983 Lake Drive, West Bend or 4025 Lake Drive, West Bend. I will send out an email with an attached map. Please note that both are on private property, and we have permission for this event to park here but are not open for public access. Because of the tree on the bridge, it may be best to have people park at both and attack it from both sides.
Bring: weather appropriate clothing and shoes (it will likely be muddy with the snowmelt), work gloves, a water bottle, safety glasses (optional), a hand saw and/or loppers if you have them.
