Munch & Learn: MMSD

Thank you to those who were able to join us for CLCF’s Munch & Learn featuring the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD). The event took place on July 30 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Town of West Bend Town Hall.
CLCF welcomed Kristin Schultheis from MMSD and David Grusznski from The Conservation Fund. They shared their insights on preserving lands in the headwaters of the Milwaukee River Watershed and highlighted the successful partnership between MMSD and CLCF. Their presentation, titled “MMSD’s Floodwater Management Programs and Partnership with CLCF,” provided a look at MMSD’s efforts in floodwater management and the vital role that land preservation plays in these initiatives.
71 attendees enjoyed a morning of conversation and learning. The event emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in environmental conservation and showcased how MMSD and CLCF work together to create a greater impact in the community.
