Walk & Talk at the Rudorf Farm

On August 14, 2024, at CLCF’s Rudorf Farm, Josh Schoemann, County Executive, presented a $500,000 grant to CLCF for the Rural Communities Land and Water Pilot Grant Program to support CLCF’s efforts to conserve farmland in the Cedar Lakes region.

The presentation was followed by a Walk & Talk led by Allen Dornacker of Dornacker Prairie Acres and Washington County Conservation Staff on the soil and water conservation practices that take place on the Rudorf Farm.

Thank you to everyone who came to show their support and for being part of this important moment for CLCF. We look forward to continuing our work with Washington County to conserve farmland in our mission area.
