Snowshoe Shuffle/Hike and Chili Social

The 2024 Snowshoe Shuffle & Chili Social will, again, be held at the Girl Scout’s Camp Silver Brook in West Bend. Camp Silver Brook is perfect for experienced and beginning snowshoers of all ages and great for a family outing!

The Chili Social will be held in the Jo Ann Mann Lodge at Camp Silver Brook, so plan to join us for the afternoon. Stay and enjoy a presentation on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. 

Camp Silver Brook offers two snowshoe/hiking trails. The longer trail is 2.5 miles and loops around beautiful Lucas Lake. The shorter is 1 mile and meanders through the wetlands.

Snowshoeing: 2pm- 4:30pm

• *If there isn’t enough snow, we are still able to hike on both trails
• Outside firepit with s’mores
• Accessible indoor bathrooms

Chili Social: 3pm – 6:00pm in the Jo Ann Mann Center/Camp Silver Brook

• Refreshments: hot cider, cocoa, coffee & cold non-alcoholic beverages
• Enjoy vegetarian, beef, and chicken chili and an array of snacks and desserts
• Fireplace with cozy fire to just sit and enjoy with friends and family

Ice Age Trail Presentation: 5:00pm in the Jo Ann Mann Lodge/Camp Silver Brook

• Enjoy a presentation on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail by Sarah Moore, CLCF’s Stewardship Coordinator, and learn about the history and their collaboration with CLCF

Should weather conditions prevent snowshoeing, we are able to hike the same trails. The Chili Social will take place in the Jo Ann Mann Center at the scheduled time regardless of the weather.
